a cacophony of metal upon metal and heavy breathing or a rhythmic and stylistic masterpiece?

what notes of what instruments are programmed or is it only the sound produced that reflects back through recorders and players? can you change meter, tempo? what other efx can you do? Can you plug it into a wah wah?

what if you pissed on the rose...would the tinkle's sprinkle make musac?

:)

the idea that it could use only the sound produced working the metal would be great, but doesn't fit the idea I'm going for in this particular performance piece. The concept is to "uncover" a hidden melody in a barrage of noise, so in this scenario a melodic instrument is necessary instead of just idiophonic banging.
